Rasmy Freight LLC ("Rasmy Freight," "we," "us") is a motor carrier based at 3800 American Blvd West, Suite 1500, Bloomington, MN 55431.
This policy covers information we collect through rasmyfreight.com, by phone, by email, and by text message when we communicate with shippers, freight brokers, and other business contacts.
What we collect
What you give us. When you fill out our quote form or contact us, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, pickup and delivery locations, pickup date, approximate weight, reference or PO number, and any freight details you write in.
Text message information. If you choose to opt in to texts, or if you text us first, we keep your mobile number, the date and time of your opt-in, and a record of the messages we exchange.
Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. We use this to keep the site running and to spot spam and misuse.
How we use it
- To answer your quote request and follow up with you.
- To plan, book, coordinate, and deliver freight, including pickup and delivery appointments.
- To give you shipment status and location updates when you ask for them.
- To set up carrier accounts, send paperwork, invoice, and get paid.
- To keep records we need for legal, tax, safety, and regulatory reasons.
- To protect our website and business from spam, fraud, and misuse.
Text messaging (SMS)
Texting is optional. You can request a quote, book freight, and work with us without agreeing to receive text messages.
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and text-message consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
How you opt in
You can opt in by checking the optional SMS consent box on our contact form. The box is never pre-checked. You may also start a text conversation with us by sending us a message, in which case we will reply to that conversation.
What the messages may contain
Messages are conversational and informational. They may include replies to your freight inquiry, quote follow-ups, pickup and delivery scheduling, appointment coordination, shipment status and location updates, requests for documents or details, and other service updates related to your freight. We do not use text messages for marketing or promotions.
Frequency, costs, and how to stop
- Message frequency may vary depending on your shipment and your questions.
- Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. We will send one confirmation and then stop texting you.

- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any services from us.

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when we need to, and only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, form and email delivery, phone and text messaging, accounting, and software providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Parties involved in your shipment, such as shippers, receivers, brokers, and drivers, to the extent needed to book, pick up, and deliver the freight.
- Authorities and advisers when the law requires it, to respond to legal process, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others, and our lawyers, accountants, and insurers as needed.
- A future owner if Rasmy Freight is ever merged, sold, or reorganized, subject to this policy.
Text-message opt-in data and consent are handled separately: they are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, as stated above.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we need it to do the work described above and to meet legal, tax, insurance, and record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete it or remove identifying details.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including limiting access to people who need it. No website, email, or text message is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers or bank card numbers through the quote form or by text.
Your choices
- To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.
- To stop emails from us, reply and tell us, or write to info@rasmyfreight.com.
- To ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email info@rasmyfreight.com. We will respond as required by the laws that apply to you. We may keep some records where the law or our business needs require it.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
